Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my blog, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.
I have been a watchmaker for the best part of 15 years. The majority of that 15 years has been spent between working for either large independent watch repair firms, or working directly for the service departments of the luxury brands themselves. The experience I have gained has proved invaluable in my ability to repair all manner of watches, from vintage to the more modern watch calibres. The majority of my work is carried out on brands such as Rolex, Omega, Tag Heuer, Breitling and Cartier, however I am more than capable of working on pretty much any watch put in front of me.
I honestly believe a watch can be serviced to the same high standard whether its in a state of the art brand service centre or a smaller independent workshop. Its the skill of the watchmaker that is most important.
Given my job, naturally, I am regularly asked to repair and service watches in my own workshop and this blog is a documentation of those services.
I love working on and fixing watches, I take great pride in my work which I hope you can see from my posts. I also happen to love writing about watches and the repair of them, so this blog seemed like a natural progression for me.
Thanks again for taking the time to read my blog and feel free to contact me with anything watch related – if im not fixing watches the next best thing is talking about them 🙂
