How do I send you my watch?
Please contact me via email and I will let you know a price (subject to inspection), and if you’re happy to go ahead, I will provide you with my secure PO box address. I only recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery with the correct insurance value selected.
What happens after you receive my watch?
First of all I will confirm safe receipt of it within 24 hours of its arrival. Then within 48 hours of my confirmation of receipt, I will make an initial inspection of the watch. At this point I will confirm the price of the service and if any parts are required. If you are happy to proceed, the watch will then join my service queue.
How long will you need my watch for?
This varies, I will confirm the service queue length after receiving your initial email.
Can I speak to you on the phone?
Yes! This is one of the main advantages of dealing with an independent watchmaker as opposed to a brand where speaking to an actual watchmaker would be nigh on impossible. My telephone number is 01245 922122, please leave me a voicemail if I cant answer and I will call you back as soon as I can.
Why do you use a PO box?
I use a secure PO box for security reasons. I don’t want my workshop address to become freely available on the internet.
Do you use genuine parts?
Yes, 90% of the time. However sometimes genuine parts are obsolete and the only possibility of fixing the watch is by using a generic part, or even making a part from scratch. If that is the case, I will always let you know beforehand.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. The watch will be returned with a 1 year warranty on the work carried out, this doesn’t include accidental damage.
Will my watch appear on your blog?
Possibly. If you particularly want a blog post then please let me know and I will try my best. It is impossible for me to write a post for every watch I service as there would just be too many of them.

How do I pay?
I currently accept payment via BACS or PayPal, no payment is required until after the work is complete and the watch is ready for dispatch.
Do you test for water resistance?
Yes, and I will replace seals as necessary. However please note that on vintage watches it is not always possible to make them water resistant due to wear to the case, I dont advise swimming with a vintage watch for this reason.
