The Watch Professional specialises in the servicing and repair of Panerai Watches. Our senior watchmaker is a Panerai accredited watchmaker.
Every watch we service is handled with the precision and care it deserves. We guarantee expert craftmanship, transparency and the use of only genuine parts – so your timepiece works beautifully for years to come.
The process
We aim to keep the servicing process as simple and as clear as possible, so you know exactly what’s happening at every stage.
1 – Send or Deliver Your Watch
Use our Quick Quote form, then bring your watch directly to our Chelmsford workshop, or post your watch via Special Delivery with the option to add £10,000 of insurance cover.
2 – Inspection & Estimate
As soon as your watch arrives, we’ll notify you. A senior watchmaker will then inspect it to confirm the service price provided.
3 – Servicing & Testing
Your watch will be serviced within the agreed timescale to brand specification. Every timepiece undergoes rigorous testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
4 – Invoice & Payment
Once servicing and testing are complete, we’ll send you an invoice for payment.
5 – Secure Return
After payment is received, your watch will be dispatched back to you via fully tracked and insured delivery (covering up to £10,000).
6 – Return & Guarantee
You’ll receive your watch the next working day, complete with a two-year guarantee on all full servicing work.
Watch Servicing
Every watch serviced at The Watch Professional is carried out by an experienced watchmaker and serviced in line with the manufacturer’s specifications. Each movement is carefully cleaned, lubricated and reassembled, followed by thorough testing for timekeeping and water resistance to ensure everything is performing as it should.
Each service includes the following –
- Complete disassembly of movement
- Inspection of each part under magnification
- Replacement of worn components
- Ultrasonic cleaning of all parts
- Reassembly and oiling of movement
- 5 day mechanical tests.
- Water resistance checks where necessary
- 2 year guarantee
